Transaction Emphasizes Hood Container’s Continued Focus on Corrugated Packaging
Operations by Acquiring Operations in the Growing Piedmont Area of SC.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA – August 28, 2019 Hood Container Corporation announced today that Stronghaven Incorporated, its corrugated packaging division, has acquired the corrugated packaging business of Simpsonville, SC-based Progressive Packaging Inc. The transaction includes all of Progressive Packaging’s design, manufacturing, assembly, and fulfillment operations in both the Greenville Spartanburg area as well as Early Branch, South Carolina.
Russ Crowe, President of Progressive Packaging, shared the following comments regarding the business and transaction. “For twenty-five years, Progressive Packaging has been focused on the foundation of family values.
